Better Home Designer Suite Review: Outstanding program, August 26, 2004

This is an outstanding program for novice and intermediate home designers. I entered data, then proceded to design the rooms, cabinets, windows, fixtures and was pleasantly surprised to discover how accurate my plans were. It helped me find problems with the design and allowed me to make corrections early on. Even my architect was amazed at what I created.

This is not a $5000.00 architect program but for the money it is very powerful. Our first home is now under construction as I write.

Better Home Designer Suite Review: Limited Capability-Not For Remodeling - When I read the other reviews on this product, I was a bit surprised at their very positive nature. Then I remembered how I felt when I first tried this program and it all made sense. My guess is that the folks who wrote the positive reviews probably haven't worked with the program for very long.
